They’re talking about us. Here’s why.

A few weeks ago, a quiet conversation started rumbling in the corners of our teaching community.

It began with a question I asked inside a private mentorship space:

— What if we stopped making it up as we went along?
— What if your yoga practice wasn’t random — but part of something bigger, something that lasts?
— What if we built something… on purpose?

That idea — that yoga can be progressive, planned, and personal — landed.
It sparked dialogue.
And just recently, my mentor Cecily Milne (founder of Yoga Detour) shared a public Instagram post inspired by it.

She wrote:

“@sadiewellsyoga started a thread about this in our Teachers Community a few weeks back, and it gave rise to some fab ideas…”

To see someone of Cecily’s calibre — someone I deeply admire — shine a light on the approach we’re developing here in little ol’ Eimeo was surreal… and honestly, very moving.

But this didn’t start with that post.

This work — this shift — has been quietly taking root for a while now.

Last year, I shared the same vision with another mentor of mine, Jason Crandell, during teacher training. I told him about our little home studio, how I knew every student by name, and how I was beginning to design a curriculum-based approach to yoga that would help people make real, long-term progress.

And Jason said something I’ll never forget:

“What you have — this setup — is perhaps the future of yoga.”

Not a random class here or there.
Not a drop-in culture that never really sticks.
But a space where students are seen, known, and supported.
Where each class is part of a bigger arc.

And that’s exactly what Rebuild & Rise is all about.

🗓️ Rebuild & Rise | 28 April – 5 June

A 6-week progressive journey through strength, rhythm, and clarity.

Designed especially for midlife folks — like me — who are navigating burnout, big transitions, and want a practice that truly supports them.

This is yoga with a plan.
A curriculum.
A vision.

And yes — people are paying attention.

If you're curious about the Rebuild & Rise module and what it might offer you, you're warmly welcome to explore it further via my Modules page.

I know many of you may not know who Cecily, Jason, or Jules Mitchell (my current teacher) are — or my wonderful friend and mentor Amber Karnes, who walks beside me with wisdom and compassion every single week.

But I wanted to share this with you because it means what we’re creating here together — in our small, intentional space — is resonating beyond our walls.

It’s not just thoughtful.
It’s not just different.
It might just be the future.

Let’s rebuild.
Let’s rise.

Want to read Cecily’s original post? You can find it here. It’s beautifully written, and I’m honoured our conversations helped inspire it. 💛
